Welcome to Stop Your Pain. By using this app, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully.
1. Publisher identity and image rights
Stop Your Pain is an application developed and operated by Michael Abergel, certified osteopath (D.O.), operating as a sole practitioner at 80 rue Saint-Dominique, 75007 Paris, France. ADELI N°: 750019457. SIRET N°: 82825803800029. Email: m.abergelosteo@gmail.com.
Michael Abergel is a real person. His name, image, voice, clinical signature, tone, and all educational content within the application are his exclusive property and are protected under French law.
The artificial intelligence named "Michael" within the application is an assistant trained to reflect his clinical approach. It is not a substitute for an in-person consultation with a healthcare professional.
Any reproduction, recording, capture, commercial use or misuse of Michael Abergel's image, name, voice or methodology — including the creation of deepfakes, AI clones or impersonations — is strictly prohibited and will expose the offender to civil and criminal prosecution under article 9 of the French Civil Code (image rights) and article 226-8 of the French Criminal Code (identity theft and deepfakes).
2. Intellectual property and content protection
All content within the application — texts, illustrations, exercises, AI prompts, source code, user flows, interface design, pedagogical methodology — constitutes an original work protected under the French Intellectual Property Code (articles L.111-1 et seq.).
Any reproduction, copying, extraction, reverse engineering, redistribution, translation, adaptation, public sharing or commercial use, in whole or in part, of the application's content without prior written authorization from the author is strictly prohibited and constitutes counterfeiting, punishable by 3 years' imprisonment and a €300,000 fine (article L.335-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code).
The trademarks "Stop Your Pain" (INPI N° 5252402) and "Osteoparis7" (INPI N° 5252407) are registered with the French INPI (Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle). Any unauthorized use of the names or logos will expose the offender to sanctions under articles L.713-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code (up to 4 years' imprisonment and a €400,000 fine for trademark infringement).
3. Acceptance of terms
Using the Stop Your Pain app implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms of service.
4. Service description
Stop Your Pain is an information and support app focused on common musculoskeletal pain. It offers an AI companion, guides written by an osteopath, and practical exercises.
The app does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescription.
5. Account and subscription
Part of the content is free. Full access (Premium) is offered through a subscription managed by Apple's App Store. Billing, renewal and cancellation terms are those of Apple.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- Not use the app for illegal purposes
- Not attempt to bypass technical protections
- Not use automated scripts or bots
- Not redistribute or copy the content without permission
7. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it is free from errors or continuously available. We cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages related to the use of the app, in particular when advice is self-applied without consulting a healthcare professional.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable to consumers residing in another State, in particular within the European Union (article 17 of the Rome I Regulation) or in the United States. Users residing in the United States retain the rights granted to them by their local laws, including in consumer protection matters.
9bis. Apple App Store compliance
This application is distributed via the Apple App Store. By downloading the app, you also acknowledge having accepted Apple's Standard EULA (End User License Agreement), available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. In case of conflict between these terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA prevails for matters relating to distribution, payment and technical support of the app.
